WHO MATTERS

In 2017 and 2018, I collaborated with the Madison Senior Center and Madison Public Library’s Community Engagement Librarians to capture photographs and stories of multigenerational relationships. Families, friends, and neighbors at the Hawthorne, Sequoya, and Goodman South Library branches participated with only one rule: at least one person in the photo had to be 55 years of age or older. The photos and accompanying stories that came out of these sessions were on display at the participating library branches for several months as larger-than-life banners. Participants received prints and digital files as a thank you.
